Kayak Package

Description:

Group kayaking lessons as part of guided excursions in the Baia del Sole of Laigueglia which is strategically located in the middle of the Pelagos International Marine Park, a Cetacean Sanctuary, where paddling along the coast is not so rare, accompanied by dolphins and small cetaceans. The lessons start from the basic concepts of kayaking, from the knowledge of canoeing and the paddle and their correct use in the dynamics of movement in the waves and sea currents. Sit In performant or single or multiple Sit on Tops Kayaks are available which are stable and safe and for all levels of experience as well as Hydrodynamic paddles and safety equipment according to the navigation protocol of the kayaks.

Programme:

First day

Arrival at the hotel with welcome drink and accommodation in the room.

Second Day

Explanation briefing at the hotel about open water kayaking and the basics. Transfer to the
beach on foot and start of practical activities and water exercises. Duration: about 2 hours.

Third day

Full Kayak excursion in the Baia del Sole, inside the International Marine Park “Pelagos Cetacean Sanctuary”. Dinner in a fish restaurant near the beach.

Fourth day

Briefing and kayak excursion. Lunch in a fish restaurant near the beach. Return to the hotel with the possibility of using the room before departure

Technical information/specifications:

Each participant must have his own sportswear with tight fitting thermal shirt and cyclist like knee length shorts, neoprene shoes or light water gymnastics, in addition of course to the necessary for bathing and clothing changes, an adequate waterproof bag for personal equipment is recommended. The lessons last about two hours and will be preceded by an introductory briefing on the purpose and methods of the excursion, with a starting and returning point in the launch area of the boats near the Laigueglia pier.
